A reminder that U14s/U15s can play on either Saturday or Sunday, so keep your options open for the 2027/28 season.

About Us
Tamworth Junior League was formed in 1972 and celebrated its 50th Anniversary during our 2022-23 season. The League provides FA sanctioned development football for ages Under 7 – Under 11 inclusive and competitive League Divisional football for ages Under 12 – Under 18 inclusive. We offer local clubs the chance to enter their teams and allow their players the chance to play in a safe and fun environment allowing them to develop their skills, learn about teamwork and play with their friends against other local teams.
Our Under 7 – Under 13 age groups play on Saturday mornings from September to May with Under 14 – Under 18 playing on Sunday afternoons within the same seasonal months.
Local Junior football clubs register within our League and play a variety of competitions including Leagues and Cups and all member clubs are FA affiliated and abide by the strict FA guidelines in relation to coach qualifications, DBS & Safeguarding requirements & First Aid.

Tamworth Junior Leagues member clubs are always looking for players to add to their teams, people who want to coach a team and volunteers to assist in their club. If you think you want to participate as a player you just need to contact a local club who will advise on the processes involved. Want to be a Referee? then again consider TJFL as a junior league where you can officiate matches from U7-U18. Contact us on the email above to get more information.
